A grand hay barn is the centrepiece of the Quadrangle. Built in 1870, it opens directly onto the courtyard and garden. It is ideal for talks, workshops, conferences, yoga, and dining.

Opposite the big barn, the converted Shepherd’s barn is a more intimate breakout space, with a full kitchen and a comfortable sofa, a wood-burning stove and a large kitchen table.

With a large wood burning stove, Rayburn and full kitchen, this welcoming space holds groups of up to 25 for informal talks, workshops and group meals.

The Quadrangle sleeps 24 people comfortably, and in the summer months our camping areas and bell tents provide space for many more.

Our lawn is a big open space which is used for talks, creative exercises and walking meditation throughout the year. We often bring large rugs onto the grass for picnics and tea.
