A grand hay barn is the centrepiece of the Quadrangle. Built in 1870, it opens directly onto the courtyard and garden. It is ideal for talks, workshops, conferences, yoga, and dining.

Shepherd’s Barn

Opposite the big barn, the converted Shepherd’s barn is a more intimate breakout space, with a full kitchen and comfortable sofas, a wood-burning stove and a large kitchen table.

The Granary

With a large wood burning stove, Rayburn and full kitchen, this welcoming space holds groups of up to 25 for informal talks, workshops and group meals.

The Forest Garden

Ideal for camping, breaths of fresh air and fireside stories. We've planted an orchard here using the permaculture method, and our young trees are starting to bear fruit.

Accommodation

The Quadrangle sleeps 25 people comfortably, and in the summer months our camping areas, bell tents and wooden yurt provide space for many more.

The Lawn

Our lawn is a big open space which is used for talks, creative exercises and walking meditation throughout the year. We often bring large rugs onto the grass for picnics and tea.
