Retreats
The Quadrangle is the ideal venue for yoga and meditation retreats. Surrounded by nature and with plenty of space both indoors and out, we host groups of up to 30 in a relaxed and informal setting.
If you are a yoga or meditation practitioner or therapist planning a retreat we can offer you help with organisation and planning and have a list of partners who can deliver anything from catering, nature connection work, art therapy and massage.
Optional extras
Catering
Locally sourced, organic food that tastes delicious and gives you all the energy you need. We work with a range of expert caterers who love providing meals for Quadrangle events and will work with you to create the right menu for your team.
Bell Tents
We have bell tents onsite that sleep up to three adults or a family of four in great comfort. We provide mattresses, bedding, carpets and candles to create a cosy and warm night's sleep. The tents are best suited to the summer months, but a few hardy souls have even used them in January.
Nature talks
Our relationship to the natural world is one of our main focuses at the Quadrangle and we are keen to bring new ideas and understanding of ecology to the programmes held here by providing talks and workshops on permaculture, wildlife and biomimicry.
River Swimming
From March until late October, the river is open to swimmers of all levels. Always a real highlight for those brave enough to take the plunge.
Guided Walks
We provide wildlife and foraging walks down the Darent Valley and up onto the North Downs and historical walks through Shoreham Village looking at the local architecture and agriculture and the landscapes which were so loved by the great artist Samual Palmer.
Testimonials
The Quadrangle has been my home-away-from-home for over four years now, it’s where I host yoga and nature retreats, where we co-create and nurture community. I love to run retreats here throughout the year, and notice the inner and outer changes with the seasons. The land and the nature here has so much to teach us, and as we slow down, connect and quietly observe and reflect on nature, we are reminded that we are nature.
