Two Rivers Summer School
What might emerge if we come together to tend the soul of the individual, collective, ancestors and land?
Two Rivers summer school brings together two rivers of wisdom: ancestral constellations and the four directions, or shields of knowing.
Over five days, participants are invited into practices that cultivate deeper listening to the more-than-human world and ancestral field. Together we will explore how these practices support emergent ethics and repair, with each other, land and the collective soul.
At the heart of the programme is The Way of Council —a practice of gathering in dialogue to hear a multiplicity of perspectives. This will sit alongside opportunities for personal enquiry and space to listen collectively through questions asked of the land and the systemic field on behalf of future generations and present-day conditions.
Each day includes morning dreamwork for both individual and collective reflection; solo walks on the land with specific enquiries, followed by opportunities to share experiences and receive mirroring; constellations work exploring principles relevant to self, community and organisations; emergent systemic rituals; movement and somatic practice; rest; poetry; shared cooking and meals; and evenings around the campfire. Woven throughout the week are perspectives/offerings by artists and facilitators working with plant allies, dreams and land justice.
The gathering is based in The Quadrangle’s Forest Garden.
Cost: Sliding scale £180–£650
The sliding scale reflects a range of financial capacities and a commitment to making the programme as accessible as possible. Those who are able to contribute at the higher end of the scale help make places available for people facing systemic barriers to participation, including those from the global majority, trans people, disabled participants, solo parents with childcare responsibilities and working-class artists.
The fee includes the full programme, food, and camping or glamping accommodation. Meals will be prepared collectively, with participants invited to join a small cooking team for one meal during the week.
Participants wishing to stay in one of the glamping options are encouraged to book at a higher price tier and enquire in advance, as spaces are limited.
Anyone for whom the lowest price remains prohibitive is encouraged to get in touch to discuss options.
